"People Helping People"
The Glen Allen Ruritan Club and the Henrico County Division of Recreation and Parks held the 11th Annual Glen Allen Day Parade and Fair on Saturday, Sept. 16th, 2007 at Meadow Farm Museum - Crump Park at 3400 Mountain Road in Glen Allen, Virginia. The theme for the 2007 celebration was "People Helping People".
The Glen Allen Day Parade started at 9:30AM on Mountain Road at John Cussons Drive and proceeded westbound along Mountain Road, turning right entering Crump Park and ending at RF&P Park.
The Glen Allen Day Arts and Crafts Fair began at 11AM and continued until 4PM. The Glen Allen Ruritan Club cooked and sold pork barbecue, hot dogs and hamburgers. Other refreshments and treats will be made available for sale by other clubs and sponsors. Proceeds benefited the Glen Allen community.
Glen Allen Day 2007 was supported by corporate sponsor Haynes Jeep and other community businesses and organizations.
